Christmas Photo Layout Process

I'm so excited!

I've started the layouts featuring the photos from Christmas 2011! Yes-- I did! I don't know WHY I procrastinate doing Christmas photos, but I do.
CONSISTENTLY!!!

UGH!

Maybe I procrastinate because it is such a BIG day for us, and very special. I hesitate to create pages for the photos as nothing could imitate the feeling of Christmas day!

I decided to throw that thought out the window, take the bull by the horns, and get those memories scrapped. I have made getting Christmas 2011 photos on the page my January 2014 goal.

I'm organizing to create these event-based page process in a neat, step-by-step way, and I'm taking photos so I can create a tutorial about it, which I will post on my Blog. I have figured out there will be about 12-13 pages about that holiday.

I'll share the process with you as soon as I have all my ducks in a row! Just wanted to LYK that this is coming very soon!

Happy 20th Birthday to our one and only daughter, our eldest- Kate Lillian. Love you, sweetie, and am so proud of you!

Scrapbooking Goals: 2014

Hi everyone!! Happy New Year!

WOW-- can you believe: 2014!!? We're well into the month now.
I love a brand new year.
In general, I work better if I am organized and have an end point in mind, so every year I set myself some Scrapbooking Goals. This year I am adding card goals, too. Here is a list.

Goals related to papercrafting:

155 LOs (12x12" or 81/2x11" pages)
200 cards
12 layout sketches
12 card sketches
Complete Christmas 2011 pages
Complete Christmas 2012 pages
Complete Christmas 2013 pages

Finish creating LOs using greeting card photos from friends/family

Place completed LOs in WRMK albums chronologically

Purchase new WRMK albums when on special at Scrappin' Great Deals

Use heat embossing  (which I just learned how to do!)
Stamp on LOs (I never do this and it is a great idea!)

Complete 2 of the many BPC classes I have in my account

AND: Start using the Picture My Life system from CTMH as my "Project Life". COMING SOON- check with your CTMH Consultant!

Do you set goals for your Sb'ing or cardmaking? I'd love to hear about them, or your thoughts on this topic! Leave me a note!
Thanks for popping by!
